Very sad news for cricket world, former India team under-19 player commits suicide

Former Ranji player M Suresh Kumar committed suicide on Friday night.  The police has given information about 47-year-old M Suresh Kumar's suicide.  Police said that M. Suresh Kumar committed suicide at his home and his body was recovered from there.  M Suresh Kumar was an all-rounder and played for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy.

 M Suresh Kumar made his Ranji debut in 1992-93 and played 72 matches till 2005-06.  M Suresh Kumar scored 1,657 runs in these 72 matches and also took 196 wickets.  However, Suresh Kumar never got a chance to play for Team India.

 Suresh Kumar played 52 Ranji matches from Kerala and he played 17 Ranji matches for Railways.
Suresh Kumar was currently working in Railways.  Suresh Kumar tried his luck in the Duleep Trophy on behalf of South Zone and Central Zone.

 M Suresh has played under-19 cricket for India.  Not only this, M Suresh was selected in the ODI team in 1992 but he did not get a chance to play the match.

 Given M Suresh's brilliant record, it was considered unfortunate not to get a chance to play for Team India.  Former Team India captain Rahul Dravid has praised the bowling of M Suresh.

 Suresh Kumar started playing cricket at the age of 13.  M Suresh played a key role in Kerala's first win over Tamil Nadu in the 90s.
